What kinds of therapy do you offer?
We provide clinical psychology assessment, formulation and therapy; person-centred counselling; EFIT (Emotional Freedom Imagery Therapy); coaching, consultation and mentoring.
What mental health issues can you help with?
We support people with issues including anxiety, depression, post-natal mental health, domestic abuse and violence, later-life transitions, neurodiversity, and understanding how past experiences affect present life.

Where are sessions held? Do I need to travel?
Sessions can take place in person at the Rochdale clinic or online (nationwide).

How do I book my first appointment or introductory call?
You can book via the “Book an Appointment” or “Book Your First Call” button on the site.

Do you accept referrals or work via insurance?
Yes, we accept insurance work from a variety of insurance providers.

What should I expect from my first appointment?
The first meeting is usually an introductory call (or meeting) to discuss your concerns, gather history, assess suitability, and decide together what type of therapy might help.

How long do therapy sessions last, and how many will I need?
Session length and number depend on your needs, diagnosis, and therapeutic approach. Some issues may resolve quickly, others require more time or long-term support.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. All sessions are confidential. The only times confidentiality is broken are when required by law (e.g. risk of harm to self or others).

What is EFIT and when might it be useful?
EFIT is one of their therapeutic approaches (Emotional Freedom Imagery Therapy). It can help with intense emotional distress or trauma by working with imagery and emotional processing. It may be suitable if more traditional talk therapy is not enough or you are drawn to working with more emotionally expressive techniques.

Do I need a referral to start therapy?
No - you can self-refer and book directly.

How do I know which therapy is right for me?
Your first session will be an assessment where we explore your needs and recommend the most suitable approach.
